Due to Covid-19, we are offering remote assessments so long as the customer can meet the following criteria:
- A member of staff with administrative rights and access to all devices in scope must be available for the duration of the assessment.
- We must be able to see the screen of this administrator. Our preferred method is Teamviewer but other options can be discussed. There is a degree of flexibility regarding tools and methods particularly for smaller companies with three or fewer devices to test.
- That member of staff with administrative rights must be able to see or take control of the required sample of machines whether on single or multiple sites. The ideal scenario would be that we are able to view one machine which in turn can access all other machines for both vulnerability scanning and screen sharing. This keeps the process efficient but if it is not feasible, we can discuss other methods, which may take longer
- We would need the nominated person’s contact number and a conversation must take place with the assessor at least two days before the booked assessment to go through the process ahead of the assessment.
- Provide a live, working email address for us to send blank test files to so we can check it is receiving emails
Just to reiterate, using current methods agreed with the NCSC, a member of staff with administrative rights must be available during the assessment. This is undergoing constant review.
